He never forgot her…

When General Collin Hunt is ordered to take a much-needed holiday, he resigns himself to rest and recreation at his brother's country estate. But when the only woman ever loved—and selflessly gave up—shows up as his sister-in-law's governess, his carefully ordered life is turned inside out.

She'll never forgive him…

When Erienne Stone defied her family and fled her life of privilege, she never expected to be reunited with the man who'd abandoned her more than a decade before. But Lucy, Duchess of Claringdon, is a hard woman to say no to, even when Erienne's heart is in danger of breaking all over again.
A meddling matchmaker may be the key to their second chance…
After a decade of pain and heartache, can two star-crossed lovers trust the truth in their own hearts?

The Story in 4 Sentences or Less: After a decade apart, Collin Hunt and Erienne Stone find themselves face to face when she accepts a position as a governess in Collin’s brother’s home. Collin never forgot Erienne and she hasn’t forgiven him for abandoning her, but with Collin’s sister-in-law, Lucy, it’s just a matter of making sure they can’t escape each other while they figure out that they belong together.

Like It? Hate it? Love it? Why? Meddling Matchmaker Lucy Hunt is back and this time she’s determined to help her brother-in-law find his happy ending with his first and only love. I have had a love/hate relationship with Lucy ever since the second book. I love that she’s so loyal and supportive of her friends but her railroading methods of matchmaking can get annoying, plus, by this point in the series she’s become a tad arrogant in her ways. That said, the story really is about Collin and Erienne, I enjoyed their second chance at love. Erienne’s determination to follow her own path was admirable, she was never a delicate flower that needed coddling and even when Collin was being a thick headed baboon he was a likable guy. Mr. Hunt I Presume had all the romance I’ve come to expect from this series but with a quicker pace because it’s a novella.
