Tell Me Something Tuesday: Halloween!

Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion hosted on Rainy Day Ramblings where a wide range of topics from books to blogging are discussed. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog!

This Week’s Question: What books would you recommend for Halloween reading?

My Answer: Happy Halloween guys! Let me just say that I am NOT a horror fan at all. I just… Nope, I don’t like being scared but I do love costumes! That said, what would I recommend for Halloween reading? Well this blog does cover romance novels so I’d recommend the following paranormal romance books (Click the title for the blurb):

Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon – The first six books of the series are amazing (After that they’re hit or miss) but Ash’s book, which came later is just as much of a tear jerker as it is a romance.

Styxx by Sherrilyn Kenyon – Ash’s twin has just as challenging a story as he does, more so in my opinion. This one is less romance, more of a personal journey for Styx as well as some pretty shocking revelations for Styx. Poor guy.

Reaver by Larissa Ione – The whole Demonica series is damn good with vampires, demons, angels, fallen angels, and everything in between. Reaver’s story was a long time coming and was well worth the wait.

Rogue Rider by Larissa Ione – How about a romance about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse? This is Reseph’s story, aka Pestilence and it isn’t an easy story either.

Wolf Trouble by Paige Tyler – A team of alpha males who don’t fight, aren’t alpha assholes (aka Alphaholes), and make up a SWAT team in Dallas? Hell yes! The series is great but this one is my absolute favorite because the heroine is… AN ALPHA FEMALE!! Yes!!

Midnight Awakening by Lara Adrian – Another great vampire romance, Tegan and Elise couldn’t be more opposite but at the same time they’ve both got a bit of a death wish. The whole series is one I’d highly recommend.

Bunnicula by James Howe and Deborah Howe– In case you’re not a romance fan and you have young children, Bunnicula is a wonderfully funny book told by a dog named Harold who believes that the newest addition to the family is a vampire who sucks the life out of vegetables. There’s a whole book series that my mom read to me and my sister as kids so I love them.
