Meet the Kincade brothers: they’ll go to any lengths to protect their legacy—
but what happens when love gets in the way...?

As if the holidays weren’t stressful enough, Parker Kincade has a restaurant to open. The fact that his Groomzilla brother wants the place for his perfect Christmas wedding doesn’t help. Then there’s the stunning woman who appoints herself his new chef before he’s ready to hire one. But one look at Gabriella Montani has Parker reassessing needs vs. wants. And that’s before he tastes what she has to offer…

Gabriella doesn’t need to get tangled up with a sexy man. What she needs is a job and a chance to prove herself. A place in Parker’s kitchen could give her the opportunity she’s been waiting for. The heat between them is sizzling, but a place in his bed could be downright dangerous. Neither Christmas nor men have ever lived up to her expectations, but Parker has soulmate written all over him. Should Gabi let herself be swept up in his holiday magic, or will it disappear before Christmas Day?

What’s it About? The Kincaid family has been through a lot since the deaths of their parents and a surprise revelation. The holidays are not only a time for family but for weddings. Parker Kincaid is doing his best to have his restaurant ready for his brother Jordan’s Christmas wedding. Not just because his brother has turned into Groomzilla but because Parker sees it as a personal challenge and a way to atone for some of his past. He has a lot riding on his shoulders but he’s not the only one. Gabriella Montani has a lot to prove too. She needs a job fast so she pretty much declares herself Parker’s new chef. Their attraction is off the charts and to Gabi, Parker has all the makings of a forever guy and that’s never been her thing except now that’s all she can think about and with the holidays closing in, Parker and Gabi are in for a big surprise.

Overall reaction to the story? I love the Kincaids, they’re such a loving family and even with the double punch of their parents’ death and the revelation that followed, they love each other. Candis Terry brought the family closer together with this book without taking away from Parker and Gabi’s romance. I loved the dynamic between them and how Gabi fit in with the rest of the Kincaids. I would definitely put Tangled Up in Tinsel on my list of most romantic holiday romances. It had a lot of holiday spirit but didn’t overdo it on the sweetness one bit. Parker and Gabi were a hot, sweet, and funny couple that I couldn’t get enough of.

Describe the hero in five words: Loyal. Funny. Caring. Talented. Protective.
Did you like him? Yes.
Why? Parker’s love for his family was his best trait I think. He’s totally a strong, capable alpha male but he also had this kind heart that would do anything to heal the rift and wounds among his siblings. I loved this guy and then add the fact that he was a chef?? He spoke to my food loving heart! He had so much going for him and he didn’t even know it. You have to love a guy like that!

Describe the heroine in five words: Strong. Sassy. Intelligent. Kind. Lonely.
Did you like her? Yes.
Why? Gabi pulled at my emotions from the very beginning. She was a strong, capable woman determined to find a job that would allow her to use her considerable cooking skills but at the same time she was so lonely! Gabi was the type of character who should have a lot of people around her that love her because she was just so genuine to me. I loved her balance of sweetness and snark. She was the type of woman I would love to have as a friend and definitely in my corner if I got into a fight.

Let’s talk about the romance: Parker and Gabi hit it off right away, they had a love of cooking in common and both of them were kind hearted. Their chemistry was undeniable but I also loved how they developed a supportive friendship too. Gabi encouraged and pushed Parker to face what was holding him back in his business and in his personal life. I enjoyed their tender moments just as much as their heated moments. Parker’s sweet side was always present when he was with Gabi and I could see why she was afraid she might fall in love with him.

How about that supporting cast? The Kincaid family is a family to envy. They’re loud, bossy, annoying, but super supportive and unflappable with their love for one another. I couldn’t get enough of the scenes with them all together. Since Tangled Up in Tinsel was a holiday romance I got my wish because they were constantly in Parker’s space and driving him crazy in the best way.

Click It or Skip It? Click It. Candis Terry created a heartwarming family saga with this series and with the holidays around the corner, Tangled Up in Tinsel is a must have when it comes to holiday romances.
