Cat Thursday: That Darn Cat!

Welcome to the weekly meme hosted by The True Book Addict that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats!

Join us by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! Enjoy!

Okay so not only do I have three cats but my aunt has one too. Her name is Sinatra. Yes, like Frank Sinatra, this is because when she was a baby, she had blue eyes and my late uncle didn't know that they change color. Long story short, this cat has my uncle's bad attitude. She's a horrible cat and not exactly my favorite animal in the house. The birds hate her and dive bomb her all summer long, she hates Orion, Spencer and Amelia (though the feeling is mutual with Amelia) and she teases Mr. Pud which sends him into a fit of barking.

She definitely has the "My way or no way " attitude that means she lays wherever she wants, claws all the furniture, knocks down her FULL plate of dry food from the counter where she eats, demands someone open a can of wet food only to turn her nose up at it and leave (Orion then swoops in and eats it), and refuses to lay in the same bed if Orion is already occupying it. On top of that, she has a meow that carries through the neighborhood and sounds like she's being murdered.

However, her ONE redeeming trait is the patience she seems to have with my mom's dog Cooper. We don't know why since she hates any other living thing around her but she seems to like Cooper's company. She meows at him and allows him to follow her around the house and outside in the backyard. If Cooper wants to lick her face and ears, she lets him. So that's why Sinatra "The Bad Cat" has earned a spot on Cat Thursdays.

  1. LOL aw that's so cute--not the evil kitty tude but her and Cooper. She's a very pretty girl to be sporting all that attitude!

I love hearing from you and will always try to get back to each and every one of you as soon as I can. If you have a blog, leave a link so I can stop by and say "Hello!"
