Non-bloggers: We want to hear from you as well!!! Let us know your answer in the comments!

We hope you join us and let us know your Dirty Little Secrets!

This week's question:
"Book abuse!  What's the worst thing you've done to a book."

My Answer: I dog ear my pages which is bad enough but one time, I got this book that was giving me trouble because it was bound so tightly that I couldn't really open it up to read it so I flipped it over to where the opened pages were face down and broke in the spine so that it would stay open while I was reading it. I felt so bad afterwards because the pages started falling out. Of course, I only do this to my own books that I have purchased and not books that are given or loaned to me. Plus I tend to prefer e-books because I can have a bunch of them on hand at once and not be up to my eyeballs in books.

  1. Broke the spine? *gasp*

Did you vote for the best meme yet? it's linked with the DLS post. much appreciated.

  2. LOLOL! That's exactly what is happening with the ARC I was reading this week! I didn't break the spine, but I was tempted to in my frustration!

  3. I'm a former dogear-er (sp?) so I totally get that. And I hate it when books are bound so tight that you can't see the words closest to the spine. Annoying!

I love hearing from you and will always try to get back to each and every one of you as soon as I can. If you have a blog, leave a link so I can stop by and say "Hello!"
