Good Reads for a Good Cause

I love being able to do little things to help a bigger cause and this is definitely a good cause. You buy an anthology of hockey romances and 20% of each purchase goes to help a great charity. That’s right, 18 stories from 18 fabulous authors for a great price. Here’s more info about Good Reads for a Good Cause and a bit from one of the authors!

Some of the hottest romance authors have banded together to write a hockey romance anthology about a whole team of hockey players who win the Cup and fall in love.Just as awesome is that 20% of the royalties earned will go to the Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit organization that builds mortgage-free, specially modified homes for severely injured veterans.

You can learn more about Home for Our Troops here: https://www.hfotusa.org. Then pre-order your copy of Hot on Ice for only $2.99!You won’t be disappointed in these 18 hot, sexy stories. Even better, you’ll be supporting a great cause.

Good Reads for a Good Cause
By Xio Axelrod

I am thrilled to be part of Hot On Ice: A Hockey Romance Anthology, alongside so many of my favorite authors. And when we decided that 20% our sales would go to Homes For Our Troops, it made me even more proud to be a part of this project. Their mission to provide mortgage-free, accessible housing for our wounded warriors is something I truly believe in. These Veterans sacrificed so much in service to this country that we all love. Giving back in this small way is the least we can do.

In my novella, The Warm Up, my hero gives back in his own way. Having suffered the loss of his sister at a young age, ConstantineZimin spends much of his spare time volunteering with at-risk youth. He donates a considerable portion of his salary to the children’s hospital that cared for his sister over the course of her short life.

Like many who have suffered a devastating loss, Zim has hardened his heart against any further pain. It isn’t until he joins the New Orleans Ragin Cajuns that he begins to let other people get close. He knows he is only paid to play a game, but the guys on the team are his brothers. When one of them bleeds, he bleeds.

But it’s when Zim meets Suji Meriwether, a pediatric nurse at the hospital, his ice really begins to melt. She is beautiful, smart, and doesn’t have a clue who Constantine Zimin is. Nor does she care. Suji has dedicated her life to helping others, and it’s one of the main reasons Zim falls heads-over-skates for her. Great things happen when hearts come together.

Hot on Ice: A Hockey Romance Anthology

The New Orleans Cajun Rage professional hockey team just won the Cup. No one thought they’d do it: they were a team of shouldabeens, never couldabeens and a star or two. They’d only been in the Crescent City for three years before this year’s Cinderella run that had them skating off the ice with the championship.

Over the following summer, each player gets to keep the Cup for a day. Nobody knows why, but whoever has the Cup falls in love.

USA Today Bestsellers Robin Covington, Desiree Holt, Kimberly Kincaid, Nana Malone and Virginia Nelson, Publisher’s Weekly Bestseller Angi Morgan, along with Xio Axelrod, Christi Barth, Andie J. Christopher, Avery Flynn, Kim Golden, Lena Hart, Robin Kaye, Katie Kenyhercz, Heather Long, Kate Meader, Susan Scott Shelley, and Misty D. Waters bring you 18 romances with smoking hot heroes—both on and off the ice.
