Share the Love Hop!

Welcome to the Share the Love Giveaway Hop hosted by the fabulously entertaining Anna over at Herding Cats & Burning Soup. This hop is a little different though. Participants are sharing their love for their fellow bloggers/authors by giving them a few "likes" and follows for Valentine's Day. Don't worry, there's still awesome prizes up for grabs it's just that we'll be asking you to "like" and follow some of our faves!

As many are aware February is considered to be the month of love, mainly because of Valentine's Day and while this is great and all I have to ask: Why is it ONLY represented by ONE kind of love? The commercials are about having a significant other and buying that "perfect" gift. But what about people who aren't in a relationship? I don't want to make you all feel left out or "awkward" by making a post about couples and romance (ironic since this is a romance novel blog).

There's different types of love out there, there's of course the romantic kind but there's also familial love, you know the kind you secretly have for your annoying kid sister or your parents who always seem to know better than you. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins count too! There's also the kind of love you have for a friend that has been there for you through the very worst days and the very best days, they're the person you can just be you around and vice versa. Lastly, there's the love of a pet. Yes folks, there are people out there (myself included) who consider their furry, feathery and/or scaley friends as Valentines and hey! They count too!

So tell me, who is your Valentine or Valentines this year? Have any special plans? I'll go first:
This year since it falls on a Friday (yay), I am spending it with my mom and pets. We're going to buy a movie we haven't see yet, order food from one of our favorite restaurants, take it to the house and eat in quiet comfort with a movie playing on the tv. It may sound boring to some people but I'm not one for large, noisy crowds or waiting 3 hours to get a table.

WARRIOR OF HEAVEN

Reaver is an angel with a past, a record, and a less-than-heavenly attitude. Powerful enough to fight alongside the fiercest battle angels-and crazy enough to risk his wings on a one-way mission to hell-he's agreed to go where no angel has ever gone before . . . to steal the most seductive and dangerous prize of Satan himself.

ANGEL OF HELL

Harvester is one of the Fallen, a once-heroic angel who sacrificed her wings to work as an undercover agent in hell. But now her cover has been blown, and she's doomed to an eternity of agonizing torture. Even if Reaver can snatch her away from Satan's lair, even if they can fight their way out of the underworld's darkest depths, there is one thing Harvester can never escape-her new found thirst for an angel's blood.

  1. That sounds like the perfect Valentine's Adria! I'm gonna spend mine sleeping. lol I'm doing an overnight at the USO on the 13th so won't get home until like 8am after being there since 1030pm. So I will snooze my V-day away with the herd babes :)

  22. I don't really have any plans for Valentine's Day. Hubby and kids are my Valentine's, but my daughter has a big audition on the 15th so we'll be spending Valentine's Day getting ready for that. I'm her accompanist so I'll be busy practicing piano until my fingers fall off.
