About the Author
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Gina has spent the better part of her life reading. History has been her love and she spent numerous hours devouring historical romance stories, dreaming of writing one of her own. Years later, after receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees in History, writing academic research papers and writing for museum programs and events, she finally found the time to write her own stories of historical romantic fiction.
Now, under the supervision of her three dogs and three cats, she writes amid a library of research books, with her only true break away is to spend time with her other life long dream - her Arabian horse - with him, her muse can play.

Her Eternal Rogue by Gina Danna
Like so many readers, I delved into historicals, particularly Regency ones (though I didn’t know that was the genre), when I was in college and right after. Read so much that I can recall looking over the shelves at the store, begging for more releases cuz I’d read all that was there! Then, one day, I thought I could write one and a story began.
That spark of a story played in my head for years and went mute when I was in grad school for History and raising my son. Finally out of college courses and with my son off to college, I went back to reading and found RWA. Thought it was so cool! It opened doors for me and the words spilled out, the characters fighting for attention.
I wanted to write about pirates – Loved Capt. Jack Sparrow – but really wanted it during the Regency. And then to give my hero, the pirate, a twist, turned him into a vampire. As a historian, I had a blast researching piracy c. 1800 and the true history of vampires, thus making Alexander the handsome rogue with a bite.
Excerpt from Her Eternal Rogue –
Alexander Barrington flees his tyrannical uncle for the open seas where he becomes a ruthless pirate who turns vampire.
Captured and sentenced to hang, a fate he must avoid to keep his vampire self hidden, a reprieve comes if he rescues Lady Lavinia Sinclair from the French pirates and returns her to her fiance in England.
Alexander falls for the woman who makes him feel human and alive, but can he really have her without exposing what he is - a thief, the undead? The damned? Refusing to taint her innocence any further, he erases her memory of him and vanishes into the night but can he really exist without her?
