Book Blind Date #12
Book Blind Date is something that Danielle from Book Whore Blog and I decided to start after seeing a Facebook post on the Lawrence Public Library Page about a book blind date. This really got us thinking, what if the only thing you new about a book was what the story was about? No character names, no pretty covers to suck you in.
Here's how it works, you know the old saying never judge a book by its cover? Well you won't be able to, for this meme you are going to decide which book you would go on a "date" with based on the synopsis. Names and identifying phrases are removed just to make things fair. The only rule is: No Googling the synopsis, you have to pick a "date" based on what you read below.
So take part in the Book Blind Date and link up your blog! We'll be stopping by some of your blogs to check out your blind dates ;)
Last Week's Blind Dates:
Blind Date #1
When E****’s son is kidnapped by the evil vampire C****, E**** vows to stop at nothing to find his hideaway—including intercepting the traveling party of C****’s beautiful bride-to-be. But instead of a vulnerable caravan, E**** is met by a feral band of female demons that includes H****, the bride—a creature of dark magic and darker passion.
Though the safety of his son is foremost, E**** can’t deny his unexpected connection to H****—inflaming a manic desire as primal as it is irresistible. As their bond intensifies, they move toward an inevitable and terrifying battle. With time running out, E**** realizes he must not only find and rescue his son but protect H**** from C**** and the underworld forces waiting to destroy her for her betrayal.
