Cat Thursday

Welcome to the weekly meme hosted by The True Book Addict that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats! Join us by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! Enjoy!

I think today I'll let you get to know Spencer. As I said last week, Spencer was very young when we found him. At the time we were living in an area famous for being a "Pet Dumping" ground. Spencer came toddling over with his ears still a little folded and his eyes still glazed, he had probably opened them a few days prior. He had a set of lungs on him though! Since we lived with a grumpy woman who owned the house, he was not allowed to be inside. This gave us many stressful and worrisome nights.

Spencer has always had a um... Strong personality. I fell in love with him even as a cursed his antics as he grew. One of his things was climbing a small tree in the front yard and then yowling for someone to get him down. Another was waiting for me to walk outside of the house then attacking my ankles or chasing me around the yard before I was permitted back inside.

Two years later and we have moved again. Living with someone who DID permit us to make him an indoor cat (for now), he's a champion roach killer (which is WHY the home owner allows him to live inside) and still my baby. He LOVES having his picture taken too. He's a bit of an attention whore.

  4. Oh my word he was such a cute little man when he was a baby. You can tell he has all kinds of spunk and attitude in him. Love it. And he turned into such a handsome grown up!

  6. Attitude is putting it mildly. Growing up around only dogs made him into a rather strange fellow. He's my baby boy though, even when he's terrorizing my mom or Amelia.
